"The Artist Poster Show"

The Artist Poster Show is an exhibit exploring the didactic evolution of artist exhibition posters. Drawn primarily from the BAG’s permanent collection, the show spotlights the artist’s ability to communicate time, place or symbolism though an exhibition poster. See works by Guerrilla Girls and Rodney Graham to a contemporary selection of artist posters from Artspeak and Western Front. Also on display is the commissioned 12-poster series by Sonny Assu, "There Is Hope, If We Rise" (1200 printed posters will be available for free, and 20 special editions will be available for purchase).
