Featuring the work of four artists: Jen Aitken, James Carl, Michel de Broin, Stéphane La Rue.
Working in diverse media from bronze, marble, concrete and fibre glass, each artist re-presents the medium in a different way, with Stéphane La Rue’s photographs of marble floors of Renaissance and Baroque churches in Rome adding the perfect compliment to the three-dimensional works on view. Calgary audiences are familiar with James Carl and Michel de Broin as both have major sculptures on view in the public realm: the former at Oxford Properties Eau Claire Tower and the latter at St. Patrick’s Island:
