Johnny Taylor is a contemporary abstract painter. He has been pursuing his current methodology for the past fifteen years as a self taught artist. He bases his compositions on a study of architecture, and ancient Asian brush painting; from this basis he incorporates a strong influence of early Canadian landscape, mid century abstract expressionism, and blueprint drafting.
