"Water and Sky"

Following successful solo shows in Calgary and New York Debra Van Tuinen will be in Vancouver for the opening of Water and Sky her first show at Petley Jones Gallery to June 20th.

Opening Reception June 6th from 6 to 8 pm.

"In the last two years I moved in to the unknown to create the new...without the familiar boundaries I used the waterfall and its energy as a subject as I explored new ideas, images and mediums. The constant between the old and new work is the light from within; present in my past encaustic work and now adding energy and mystery to the new paintings which are encaustics and oils on canvas."
