Please join us on December 3rd and 4th for a sale of Wayne Ngan’s works in Vancouver.
This special selection of Wayne’s works made available for purchase will include pieces from his Hornby Island studio, plus works that he held back for public display and for his own collection. The works span 40 years, from the 1980s up to his most recent works before his passing in 2020. An assortment of tea bowls, vases, bottles, plates, sculptural works, and bronze pieces will be on view and for sale.

About Wayne Ngan (1937-2020)
With his singular blend of technical mastery and experimental methodology, Wayne Ngan is widely recognized as one of Canada’s most renowned and celebrated ceramic artists. Ngan received the Saidye Bronfman Award for Masters of the Crafts in 1983 and the British Columbia Creative Achievement Award of Distinction in 2013. His work has been shown at the National Palace Museum in Taipei, Hanart Galleries in Hong Kong and Taipei, the London Design Festival at Canada House, NADA Art Fair in Miami, the Dallas Art Fair, and he has had solo exhibitions at Nathalie Karg Gallery, New York, Marc Jancou, Geneva, and the Vancouver Art Gallery.
