The local artist's recent work is a collection of figurative works, charcoal on paper.
She draws from her eclectic education background including anthropology and art to explore the human condition.
In particular, concepts of isolation, fusing the old with the new, and the relationship of the individual to society are evoked through her portraits based on archival photographs of First Nations.
