Don Maynard’s solo show, Following the Afterthought, brings together works created with multiple layers of Mylar and acrylic ink. Visual information is intentionally obscured to create a palimpsest of visual conversations. Maynard’s works, which refer to the movement of energy, are rooted in an abstract and minimalist aesthetic and informed by water and landscape imagery. Maynard has exhibited across Canada and the United States since 1990.
