The Art Gallery of Ontario has revealed the Infinity Mirror Room by Yayoi Kusama it hopes to acquire through a crowdfunding campaign.
The gallery says Let's Survive Forever, the target of the #InfinityAGO campaign, is an extraordinary work that features mirrored orbs suspended from the ceiling and arranged on the ground.
The gallery hosted the exhibition, Yayoi Kusama: Infinity Mirrors, last spring.
It's the first time a Canadian art museum has launched a crowdfunding campaign of this scale to acquire a contemporary work.
