"Counting Crows" presents four artists' unique and personal experiences with the crow. Through their exploration, research, and observation, the artists, present their unique vision and personal response to Corax brachyrhychos, the American Crow.

The Leighton Art Centre brings creative expression and artistic engagement alive for diverse communities in Calgary and surrounding rural areas. Artist and architect A. C. Leighton was a mentor to Alberta’s most celebrated artists from Walter Phillips, H.G. Glyde and Maxwell Bates to Marion Nicholl. The Centre, created by artist Barbara Leighton in 1974, seeks to bring that creative nurturing to a broad public at a high level of artistic expression.
